Many of the 2016 and newer Polaris secondary clutches have a square that slides up and down the clutch. This sliding action and the type of material the square roller is made of can wear out the valley in your clutch. Once worn, the clutch will bind up preventing it from shifting properly. The only fix is to replace the entire clutch. This damage can occur within a couple hundred miles depending on riding conditions.
The best way to help prevent this clutch wear is to replace the square rollers with a new set of EPI Pro Series Rollers. EPI rollers will allow your clutch to perform smoother and quicker. It’s a win win for you and your machine.
